Scout Troop Code of Conduct
The Scouts and The Leaders of the 35th Nottingham (Kingswood) Scout Troop will work together to promote good behaviour in the Troop whilst having a programme which is both challenging and fun for all.
These are a few rules, which are to be followed by all members of the section. The reason for these rules is to give the sessions a consistent structure and safe environment, so everyone can enjoy themselves.
The Troop takes part in many activities, some of which are adventurous, and without these rules, their safety could be compromised.
As Leaders, we Promise to:
Keep the Scout Promise and Law
Organise a range of fun and interesting activities
Treat everyone equally and fairly
As Scouts we Promise to:
Have fun
Be friendly
Not to ruin others fun or waste their time
Be a good influence to others
Respect and listen to whoever is speaking
Join in
Be trustworthy and respectful
Play fairly and be nice during games
Not use electronics during the sessions
Be passionate about protecting the environment
Be passionate regarding the Scout Law
Use our time carefully
Be helpful
Try our best in everything we do
Understand that breaking these rules will result in penalties being imposed (each breach will equal a yellow card, two yellow cards will mean being removed from the session. Each session is a clean slate)
